Lydia Teel is the Emerging Resources Program Administrator at the Truckee Meadows Water Authority in Reno, Nevada. She is a Professional Engineer in the State of Nevada. She holds a BS in Ecohydrology, dual MS degrees in Hydrogeology and Environmental Engineering and will be completing her PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno in December 2021. Lydia manages the OneWater Nevada advanced purified water demonstration study and is responsible for maintaining the operation of the advanced water treatment technologies while serving as the center link between the university, operators, technology providers, elected officials, hydrogeologists, and the general public. Lydia is the 2020 WEF Canham Scholar and the 2021 WateReuse Up and Comer.
