Dr Graeme K Pearce holds a degree in chemistry and a doctorate in chemical engineering from the University of Oxford, and is the Principal at his own independent consulting firm, Membrane Consultancy Associates (MCA). MCA specializes in advice on membrane filtration technology, and provides consulting services covering a range of issues from performance and problem solving to business development options, strategic direction, and investment advice.
Previously, Graeme was responsible for membrane filtration technology at Hydranautics as Business Development Director. Prior to Hydranautics, Graeme was Technical Director and a member of the founding management team for Kalsep, a VC funded start up. Kalsep specialized in the provision of membrane and filtration systems in the UK based on technology developments from BP research.
Graeme has more than 35 years’ experience in membranes with technology and strategic development roles, and is well known in the field of water and membranes through publications including numerous papers and book contributions, and his own single author book. Also, Graeme has conducted many workshop training sessions, and has been a conference chairman and a regular conference session chair, as well as giving many keynote lectures and other papers.
